Rambling roses are the most vigorous of all rose types, for this reason they are ideal to grow on a high house wall or left to scramble over a garage or oubuilding or left to grow within a large tree. Older varieties of rambling roses usually flower once producing masses of small flowers grouped together in large trusses producing a wonderful display. Modern varieties of rambling rose usually repeat flower adding greatly to the appeal of this kind of rose.
